Kamikawachi. Myojin's lodging, "Myojinkan." At the crossroads to Kappa Bridge, the Alps, TokugouPass, and Myojin Pond. Surrounded by untouched wild nature. A lumbering center dating back to 1600. Matsumoto samurai resided here, and the woodcutter huts for the entire village were collectively known as "Tokugo huts." From the Meiji period onwards, it became a core ranch that arranged pastures. Lord Weston's first lodging hut. Due to the change in the display of Mount Hotaka to Mount Myojin, it reopened as Myojinkan in 1933. The former ranch site became a campsite.

As part of a tourism partnership agreement with Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture, the Columbia FIELD STORE Kamikochi opened again this year inside Kamikochi Shokudo. Hoping to help visitors to Kamikochi for various reasons, including mountain climbing and sightseeing, enjoy the natural beauty of Kamikochi more actively, the store sells items that make field activities more comfortable, as well as original items that are only available at the store.
We are open from early in the morning, so mountain climbers can also use the facility.
